Probably because there’s not a big difference between playing the Roosters in Sydney or the Storm in Melbourne. We rested 4 of our top 13 but the attitude of the guys playing should still be there. Disgusting effort.

I get that Finch has been going off a bit much over the last couple of nights about foul play, but he has a point.

People talk about the game getting soft, yet in the 80s and 90s it would have been perfectly normal for Taupau to be sent off last night, or for Young to cop a massive ban. These days it’s like everyone has got used to horrendous foul play and innocuous technicalities being treated almost the same way.

You're right. I mean we've seen incidents like the Luke Garner one doesn't seem so bad but cops a couple weeks yet incidents weve seen in recent times look far worse but cop a less punishment.
