I knew we'd get back to the script eventually. It's been Fkn funny listening to the commentators panic though.

Gus tried the same.

His fellow commentators were completely silent when he claimed Finucane was running through the line but was tackled by Elliott.

I’ve been switching between the two because both call teams are ruining the experience

Tough one. Seemed like the right play to prevent the try yet he gives up a penalty try. Dunno how I feel.

It’s rough but it was right.

It’s almost simultaneous but if I was the defender, I’d have backed chambers to f**k it up

Maybe that was the correct ruling by the rules, but it leaves defenders in a tough spot when someone is going for a ball in that situation.

And also means attackers are just as well off not actually getting the ball in that situation, as they are likely to get a penalty try if they don't touch it and a defender is right on them. Seems a perverse incentive for attackers and defenders.

Bad luck for Corey. he’s been a gun the last 2 weeks but hopefully it means Chris Smith gets more time.

Exactly. Basically you’re telling the defender they have to wait until the attacker possesses the ball. By that time he’s falling to the ground to score.
