Huge turnaround in Bulldogs form from the first 2 rounds to the last. Particularly in defence. 76 points conceded in round 1 & 2 and only 14 since.

Dogs really playing so good footy, scoreboard doesn’t show how much better they have been.

Still lacking that class to take advantage of momentum but the Storm are good at hanging on by a thread. They’re lucky to be down by only 6 after a very harsh penalty try.

Expect Storm to close up their right side and for us to get worn out with Napa and possibly Corey now.
Must be said though, Croft and Hughes look very ordinary players out there. Don't add much at all.

Just thinking about that penalty try. There has to be a more than likelihood of scoring the try. Chambers had to catch it and put it down. It was far from the standard tbh. He could’ve easily been pushed/tackled over the dead ball line too.

Tough one. Seemed like the right play to prevent the try yet he gives up a penalty try. Dunno how I feel.
I thought it was crystal clear. The defender is behind the attacker following a kick. The defender can't interfere with the attacker without the ball. He'd have been better off waiting to see if he muffed it because it was always going to be a penalty try.

If the ref believes a try would have been scored but for the illegal play, it is a penalty try. Cummins so thought and so did the bunker.

This will like last week's Souths/Titans game, Canterbury will barely get a call in the 2nd half on the basis that they are the heavy underdogs and are not expected to win
