Dare I say it....

In the HUNT?
Nah. Hunt was never a good game manager, is still an ordinary kicker and was best when taking on the line but we have two of those already. With all the young forwards we need a dominant halfback to tell the forwards where to run and sadly neither Nikorima or Milford is that kind of halfback.

From the moment Reynolds screwed us out of that try with the dive, I knew we were cooked. That is exactly the sort of moment that makes young players crack the sads and drop their heads, and that is not helped by invisible leadership from a captain who isn't afraid to sook it up himself. We may as well have 17 juniors running around out there because the efforts from our most senior players are close to the worst in the whole squad.

This is not going to be a good year for Rugby League in QLD.
A dive? It was a beautiful thing....

Congrats Tigers. I tipped the Broncos because of the Suncorp curse. I wasn't expecting dragons footy in the last 10 minutes from the Broncos.

I hope Tallis the thief is extra butthurt after that.

Season is still long and the Broncos still have plenty of time to turn it around. There is a lot of talent in that side still, just that they looked lost at times.

I am usually optimistic and think it will eventually turn around but it's looking pretty f**king grim right now, halves can't get us where we need to be in clutch moments, young forwards look promising as ever but that won't help us this year

I am getting tired of hearing this "yeah but Souths started slow last year", they also had some genuine game breakers in the spine in Walker and Cook with Reynolds there to get the team around the park, the biggest thing was lack is a game controlling halfback, if we did, we'd be a completely different proposition

Surely O'Sullivan or Dargan gets a go next week.

They're both young but they both actually have game management skills...

At risk of sounding like a Penrith fan Seibold was already spilling out the long-term planning talks in the presser last week and as we know, he is signed for 5 years..

Wouldn't trust a word Seibold says tbh.

This is a guy who has now been involved with and benefited from two somewhat messy coach/club break ups. Probably sells snake oil out of his garage between training sessions.

At this point I hope Tallis runs on next week at fullback

Congrats Tigers. For us different week same unforced error after error. Keep this up and we're looking like wooden spoon material.

Please, gods of league let's see this happen. Make it so.

Knights and Panthers both got the spoon 4 years after appearing in their last Grand Finals...this year it's 4 years since 2015 so.........

As soon as Chee Kam broke into the open I knew Darius would miss him. I think he is up to 6 one on one missed tackles this year.

What does he offer?

So much adversity.
