Milford should be playing Fullback, it is where he was successful in the first place.

Fullback is a specialist position totally unlike 5/8 eg Eadie, Stewart, Brentnall, langlands, fairfax, Colin Scott, simms, Johnston, Slater etc only ever played fullback.

Not even the Little Master tried to make himself into something he wasn't.

Sorry Mr Spock but that is not quite true. Graeme Langlands played quite a bit of football in the centres including in finals games and in Tests for Australia (e.g. he played all 5 tests of the 1963-64 Kangaroo Tour in the centres as Ken Thornett was the fullback).

I agree with you though that fullback is a specialist position and most players do not try and transition from being one to being a five eight or halfback. Look at Kalyn Ponga as an example where it didn't work either.
