Yeah well Green is out now too, Kearney had Hayze Perham a rookie but a specialist fullback/half on the extended bench, does Kearney use him, of course not, he puts Tohu Harris in the halves and leaves Perham as 18th man, why because Kearney is a f**king moron. The result was already a foregone conclusion, the only good that can come from this is if Kearney is sacked straight after the game, to spare us three more years of this crap.
Agreed.
Of all the clubs in the NRL that I'd love to see do well - besides the team I follow of course - the Warriors would be at the top of the list.
But it's painfully obvious, and indeed has been for a while (like since his appointment), that the Warriors are on a one way path to sustained irrelevance and mediocrity under Kearney.
The bloke is an embarrassment as a first grade coach and the fact that he got an extension in the pre season is criminal negligence.
I genuinely feel sorry for you Warriors fans.
I know people like to criticise the Roosters, but all Sombrero jokes aside, when things go wrong Uncle Nick has always taken inmediate measures to seek to rectify the situation. He simply does not tolerate mediocrity.
Graham Murray was sacked a year after making a GF. Which led to a Premiership. Ricky Stuart was sacked two years after three straight GFs with Wayne Bennett lined up to replace him. Freddy Fittler was sacked after just two seasons when it was painfully obvious that he was not the right man for the job. Brian Smith then got the flick two years after a GF.
All of that led us to Trent Robinson and the sustained success we have now.
Now Nick hasn't always got it right - far from it - but he's never tolerated failure and more importantly was never willing to just accept a middling footy side and go through the motions.
This is in stark contrast to the Warriors and a slightly lesser extent the Dragons; both of whom not only reward mediocrity but seem to revel in it as evidenced by recent coaching extensions.
