Actually it was a matter of Panthers being penalised for getting near Souths line..closer they got. More Klein stepped up.

But I also thought that Souths defended exceptionally well, took their chances and deserve credit for that. For our part we almost looked like an actual footy team and came pretty close despite the rub of the green going well against us. That's footy I suppose.

Was a gutsy defensive effort

We would have lost that game every time in the last few years I feel. Panthers absolutely came to play, were desperate for a win and by the time it was the 60 minute mark we pretty much were just defending and little energy to get ourselves out of our corner

Put your tips on a high score to Raiders over Panthers next week. That sort of high energy effort with nothing to show for it has gotta be draining

If my team lost despite having an amazing amount of possession in the second half, I'd just say"Shit happens" and blame my team for their failure to crack a tiring Souths unit.

Refs can make errors just like players do. Last night, the ref was nowhere near determining the outcome of the game. NW Warrior fans have a right to protest, you don't.
