The Klein factor won the game for Souths. Just a few points:
Allow me to respond, because this is too much fun.
Why didn’t they look at the second try like they normally do in those circumstances?
It was a pass, and the video ref can’t rule on those. Learn the rules.
How can you give a double movement penalty when the ball doesn’t get to the line?
The ball did get to the line. I suggest making an appointment with your nearest optometrist, post haste.
Why wasn’t a Souths player in the bin at ht?
Because the rules don’t currently provide for it. I agree they probably should be able to use it in that situation, but as it stands they can’t. Correct decision, learn the rules.
How can a touch judge not see so many forward passes, but says DWZ knocks on?
Knock ons and forward passes are different things.
How did Sam Burgess get away with his dive when the same thing happens many times in a game?
Referees are permitted to take time to come up with the correct decision. It was a crusher tackle, therefore the penalty was correct. Crusher tackles have been illegal for some time now. Learn the rules.
When was the last penalty given for a crooked play the ball?
Now you’re complaining about them getting something right? He was facing the sideline mate. Learn the rules.
How can players get called offside, still make the tackle and Klein says play on?
I don’t recall the exact incident, but once the ball carrier has run 10 metres, all previously offside players are now permitted to get involved. Learn the rules.
How do Souths get away with continually slowing the play the balls whenever defending their line, even though their hypocritical coach winges when it happens to them?
Probably the same way Penrith got away with the same thing. Neither side was worse than the other when it came to slowing down the play the ball.
This is only a few of the points that came up in tonight’s game.
Well when you come up with one that is actually valid and not just a misconception caused by you not knowing the rules, do let us know.
It appears Klein goes in with a preconception about who should win and referees accordingly.
Maybe, but that’s not what happened here.
He cost Penrith the match!
No, your halves did.
