Probably doing what they do every other night 23.5 million people aren’t watching a top rating television show. Something else.If there is 1.5 million people watching a game, what are the other 23.5 million Australians watching or doing?
In other words has the percentage of Australians watching league kept pace with the growth of our population
Only just over 11m voted, so 12.5 million are avoiding finesIf there is 1.5 million people watching a game, what are the other 23.5 million Australians watching or doing?

For next time they just might get the message ,rugby league more than matches fumble ball on Pay TV.
And not pay them a premium, but treat each code's ratings on their merit

Ratings arent the be all and end all with Foxtel.Subscriptions are far more important to their model at this time, and the fact is we dont know what those are.
Is Weidler on the Vicky Kicky pay roll?Danny Weidler must be busted up about this.
Using a sample size of one, he was convinced that the NRL ratings were going to tank due to the off season controversy.
Na he thinks people follow sport for what the players do when not playing. Is Weidler on the Vicky Kicky pay roll?

Encouraging for our game:
Surely TV ratings for the NRL on Foxtel have a direct relationship with subscriptions.Constant high ratings ,relate to numbers of subs..Constant poor ratings suggest either a drop off in numbers /subs.
Pay TV ratings even for Fox help induce advertisers to jump on board.
And if you believe the poor TV ratings for the A League are not a concern for both Foxtel and the A League, then ratings should be thrown out teh window as being useless.
Ratings for Foxtel are borderline useless in a commercial sense if you arent selling advertising.
