I hold Souths solely responsible for those dire figures on 9 last night.

AFL even managed more in the regionals.

Yeh the boring blow out nature of the game would mean the avg audience would have dropped significantly as people switched off at ht I suspect. What was the peak v the avg? Afl surprising given it was a WA v regional Victoria club and not two of the Melbourne big clubs.

Unsurprisingly the least affected game was the one not played at the same time as the ashes.

Looks OK overall, but will this excite the FTA stations enough for the NRL to get a decent increase? They tend to look at the 5 cap city ratings .

Should be noted that the NRLW season is still playing out. Suggest the ladies grandfinal will gain significant ratings on FTA tv and pay tv and throughout the remaining finals. At the conclusion of this season the tv ratings will be impressive. Remembering a test against NZ is happening as well.

    Storm rate very high again.
Great results for the nrlw, union or Aleague would kill for those figures!

Figures don’t include kayo so they are very good. Fta needs a lot of work starting with 9 losing the game and a fresh approach from a new network.

Latest fta ratings are up. Pretty average in my view. About 870000. Fox still to come.
