Such a topsy turvy comp this year. No surprise both hull teams getting a hammering after a derby, seems to be a common occurrence. Leeds big win a bit of a surprise. Leeds v Rovers on Thursday, anothe rbig game that could put leeds a lot safer and Rovers in more trouble, or bring Leeds back to the relegation pack.

Leeds will be safe now and imo beat rovers. When do the robins play London at craven park?

Pretty sure I read that same headline in 1996 when News Ltd were to invest and revolutionize the game.

https://treizemondial.fr/de-nouveaux-investisseurs-pour-la-super-league/

According to our fellow iNews, there are discussions going on between the Super League and a mysterious investor. It would be several million pounds, which could have a big impact on the competition.

Robert Elstone, the boss of the Super League, has never hidden his desire to attract new investors and increase the financial means of the European championship. According to the iNews reporter, even if the negotiations are still in their infancy, a meeting would have already taken place with the clubs.

English rugby has already made this kind of deal in December 2018, up to 230 million pounds. What salivate leaders of the Super League, who see each year from players to the NRL or rugby cousin precisely. Larger resources may be able to retain or even attract larger names from Australia.

The investments would also greatly contribute to the marketing and promotion of rugby league. Some stale stages require some small refreshments. The spectator experience outside the match can also be greatly improved, as well as the development of training.

The contract with Sky must be renewed at the end of 2021. Toronto or Toulouse (fingers crossed) could join the competition by then. The timing would be perfect to present a new vision with results and objectives revised upward for the future broadcaster.

The Super League does not want to comment. Nothing has leaked for the moment, but let's hope that the meetings are fruitful. There is always a need for more money, but you have to spend it, but that's another matter.

Rovers beat Leeds in a massive game. London lose, Wakey lose, Hudds lose. Salford look safe after an impressive win.

f**k Leeds. That first 25 mins was as inept as I've ever seen a team play. Stupid mistakes compounded by stupid penalties, constantly.

Leeds will be safe this year and as daft as it sounds right now they will be top dogs again in 3-4 years or maybe less thanks to the ridiculous amount of talented youngsters coming through the ranks at headingley.

The problem is they have loaded their squad with the worst lot of overseas players in living memory.

Haha, Peter Badel of the Courier Mail (Brisbane tabloid) is talking up Holbrook for the Titans job. Which is good, he's probably the best coach in the game who currently isn't signed up to anyone.

But Pete reckons Holbrook "saved St Helens form relegation", twitter's taking the piss out of him and he's doubling down on it. Good laugh

And the cat is back among the pigeons. Huddersfield win at Hull KR. Hull win at Leeds and London best Saints again. There will be a bit of whinging though because Saints rested several players. Bottom three all on 16 with Wakey and Salford, who trounced Catalans, just above on 18.
