It’s such a minor change for the Raiders but it makes such a huge difference. It really cleans everything up and strengthens their brand. I like the official addition of navy - it’s the perfect shade for pairing with lime green. My only criticism is that the wordmark should be tightened up a bit with the viking.

Manly has officially announced Dynasty as new apparel partner - including a sneak peak of a new alternate jersey.

That Dynasty logo looks almost exactly like the ISC one:

The bolded part was the same thought that I had. The text just seems too high up. Unnecessarily so, in my books.

Canberra Raiders unveil new look ahead of 2020

The Canberra Raiders have revitalised their logo and brand ahead of what is a new era for the club in 2020 and beyond.

Following on from the success of making the 2019 NRL Grand Final, the Raiders have reworked their logo in collaboration with local creative agency Inklab, with the updated logo contemporising the current Viking head, wordmark, typeface and colours.

The changes coincide with the teams move to their new high-performance centre in the heart of the Canberra City in Braddon, with the new Raiders Centre scheduled to open ahead of the 2020 season.

The Raiders Viking head - our brands’ primary mark, has been simplified, with tweaks to its fine details to make sure it looks great in any format or location.

The colour palette has also been simplified from six to five colours and refreshed to include the ‘Green Machine Envy’ and ‘Bad N Mean Navy’, both of which have been utilised in previous seasons.

The club’s wordmark has also been modernised, to better reflect Raiders brand we know today.

“We’re excited to share these brand updates. It’s been 20 years since the Raiders logo was last updated,” said CEO Don Furner.

“The new look logo allows us to continue to have a strong, unique and highly recognisable brand in 2020 and beyond, particularly digital, without straying too far from what everyone knows and loves.”

The new logo will feature on the Club's 2020 apparel, at the new Raiders Centre, while the Raiders website and membership packs will also feature the fresh look.

The Raiders logo was last updated in 2000.

Amazing how much a subtle change in the logo can freshen up the branding. Looks great. Video in the last link shows how subtle it is

Some of the storm boys returned to training on Friday and as listed above here is their new training kit, interesting to see no major sponsor yet again.... anyone aware what is going on? Perhaps NAS Bali incident caused an issue with an incoming sponsor?

Gear is produced so far in advance that that wouldn’t have had an affect. We just can’t attract a major partner for some reason. We’ve had two years to find a new front of jersey sponsor since Crown Resorts decided to walk away and all we could manage was a heavily discounted one year deal with a company that fell apart a month later.

It’s not like we can’t attract sponsors. In 2019 we had more sponsors than we’ve ever had. We just can’t find the one that matters the most.

you’d think being one of the most watched clubs on tv that companies would be falling over themselves

I would think they want too much for a team that plays the secondary sport in melbourne. The home market recognition would cut the price down a fair bit and from what has been said by melbourne themselves is that the off field/pre season incidents has also played a major factor in the discussions.

saw NQ’s ANZAC, WIL and Indigenious jerseys tonight.

WIL is basic, based more around the home and away jersey with pink on top

Indig looks real good

ANZAC, think Manly camo from 6-7 years ago, looks f**king horrid.
