Based on this on the Warriors' membership website, looks like they'll be sticking with the primarily blue+green colour scheme they reintroduced this season.
25th anniversary

Hope the Titans squeezed a little more money out of them. It’s not going to magically fix TFH’s reputation though.

Why did they even think it was any of their business? James was not representing or speaking on behalf of the Titans or their sponsors.

Why did they feel they needed to say or do anything at all when no one was asking? I don't really do social media but from my knowledge no one actually cared, it was a bit of a laugh, probably some memes.

Now they've flipped because of backlash which they created. Who is advising this mob?

I don't remember hearing anything negative about it on social media. I'm sure if you looked hard enough you could find something but that's how it is with most things.

For me the biggest issue was that he wasn't really given a chance to find his place and continue - they just went straight into the national anthem. Maybe he made the decision to call it when the camera was off him - I don't know. If not, they should have given him a second to regain his composure, find his place and continue.

The announcement today had a few NRL and NRLW players, plus a couple of local NRLWA Womens players all wearing NRL clubs' Hawaiian shirts (notably, at least for me, the 2020 versions as the Knights logo was the new one).

Yeah, the palm fronds are an obscure thing, but I suppose it's the summer reference they're going for, and it keeps it locally-irrelevant, so that it can be moved about from year-to-year without a major rebrand each time. The Auckland Nines had a dedicated name and logo, which would have had to have changed if it had moved to a different city.

This is the NRL Nines and 2020 will be in Perth, but 2021 could be in Townsville or Hobart or wherever and the name and logo stays the same.

Yep, that's the one. There were a few more there yesterday, but that photo was taken at Perth's Scarborough Beach.

The Auckland logo was killer, but it was a fairly formal logo and the nines concept is all about breaking the mold. A distinct logo within the NRL branding that isn't location specific achieves that.
