Cowbs up to 14325 according to the banner on their membership page. Should see it rise a bit over the next month with the trial games in the other NQ towns, we generally get a couple of thousand sign up from those 2 games.

How do we still have 3 clubs not reporting? Shows how differently each code takes memberships. In the AFL there is a sense of pride being a part of a big fan base, in the NRL no one cares not even the clubs or NRL.

As far as we understand, reporting numbers in the AFL is optional too - usually you don't see all 18 clubs' figures until the final list is released centrally by the league in July.

We believe all clubs were told to submit numbers over a week ago but the three outstanding clubs are yet to.

Completely confusing figures. Referring to the 2018 AR, The Warriors and Wests Tigers' figures are wildly different.

Then the 2018 figures overall just don't match.

Storm were offering a membership deal at yesterday’s trial game - access to one game at AAMI Park for $10. Sure, that might inflate member numbers in an artificial way but the idea is to get people into the system and convert them down the line.

every business knows having an active customer database to direct market to is one of the most valuable assets you can have.

I’d like t see more focus on recruiting 15-18 year olds as members, hook them at that age and you’ll keep them as they start earning and spending.
