I suppose he had a go, but you cannot possibly consider a player who is part of such a trainwreck for higher honours.

Like, I mean, we've had some lean years, and never in those years were our blokes considered for higher rep honours.

Not only probably the poorest effort from a Broncos team that tonight was one of the poorest from any NRL team over the years.

Still the Tigers deserve a lot of credit. It was a relentless performance from their forwards and youngsters Grant and Walters had a party alongside veteran Benji in attack. I know the Tigers love to give Penrith stick these days but I hope they make the 8 this year because they are fun to watch when they are on.

Oates compound fracture femur.

Life threatening injury mostly seen in car crashes. wtf.

Bone looked to be a few cm from the femoral artery. I don't even know how that happens on a rugby league field. Your femur can withstand a literal ton of force....

Shudder to think if that bone shard punctured the artery. You aren't stopping that on the field, he'd have bled out on international TV. A horrible injury.

Panthers/Tigers meeting deep in the finals would be pretty epic drama.

Looked like he was twisted pretty hard as he fell

2003 Bunnies
2016 Knights
2020 Broncos

I'm genuinely curious who'd run last out of those 6 teams. Like if you look at the starting lineup the Broncos have it all over the Cowboys, Magpies and Knights teams in terms of quality- but I can't recall those 3 teams being as clumsy as this Broncos crop, or so evidently not giving a shit?

Lucky they have the Bulldogs and the Titans stinking up the ladder otherwise they'd be stone motherless.

Missed the game but caught the highlights.

This is the worst I’ve seen a football team play, given the expectation and talent in their roster, in the NRL era. Utter trash.

Tigers played well.

Oates’ injury looked nasty. At least his role in the horror season is done.
