Was a bit nervous today because I knew Cowboys had absolutely nothing to lose and they brought some heart to the game with their talented youngsters and we were quite sloppy at times. We still showed enough maturity to win the game and go top of the ladder at the halfway mark. I hope we fair better than last time we were top of the halfway mark, which was 2018.

Nothing is certain in sports. For me, it's Parra's to win, although the top eight is getting crowded to the point that you only have to drop two games from withn the top four, and it's a big slide down.
Don’t downplay it. This season will just be a year long Panfafest

The Panthers had quite a scrappy game IMO but that's their style. Their passes either stick and it's a high scoring game or if they don't it becomes what we seen today. It's only halfway through the season and they are deserved ladder leaders and should also be premiership favourites.
Although the Cowboys didn't get a result, their fans should be happier with that showing. That 1st try had me spurting more sauce than Gaz in the back of a cab.

Barely even noticed Lolo played. Cowboys simply can’t win unless he makes 250m+
Oppositions know to rush him with 3 defenders every run then there’s only Maguire left that can make any metres. Wright doesn’t touch the ball, Cooper is a plodder and Hess just drops it

You reckon? For mine, the chooks and storm are the real favourites. Pennies have beaten them both, but i can't imagine them or parra beating the chooks or the cheating scum in a final

They tend to throw one of those performances our way about once every month or 2 just to tease us.

Plenty of potential there though. Epecially with no reserve grade there should be plenty of youngsters getting a run this year while Morgan, Cooper, O'Neill, Granville, Hampton etc get some rest. Even Lolo should probably be spelled out for a few games.

Imagine these prelims;
Eels v Storm with Eels winning
Panthers v Roosters with Panthers winning.

It would be so dramatic and setup an unforgettable western Sydney grand final.
