Parra’s defence is competent in a season of notably poor defences. We just dropped the ball over the line or with it begging a bunch. Their defence had no answer for us in the middle, we ran through them like everyone else.
Amazing isn't it. You win 13 in a row, yet some so called supporters of our game still can't fathom the reality of what it takes to do such an amazing feat.

got a long way to go , dragons never lost in 25 games
You are referring to undefeated matches in a row which includes draws. The record amount of wining straight wins is by the famous 1975 Easts team (which I watched most of them) which stands at 19 straight wins in a row.

An undefeated run does actually run into the next season(s) as records historically indicate. So adding onto Penrith's 13 wins, IF they remain undefeated, they end up on 18 wins with a GF win (which would break Canterbury's record) . They then would have to win the first two rounds of next years season to break that record.

The best measure of a team's quality isn't their ladder position, it's their for-and-against. Parra's is only 5th best, and could drop to 7th by the end of the round. We have the 9th best attack in the comp. What do you expect with a couple of kids in your spine and your halfback playing injured. When we flogged teams early in the year it's because they gave up, like we did against Souths.

We have solid defence though (still top four after this round). The Panthers dropped all that ball in the first half because they got frustrated and tried to score off every set. In the second half they got back into the grind, completed 25 from 26 and scored another two tries to go with the one they scored on half time.
Wrong forum mate, this isn't the Eels forum no one cares about your BS excuses in here.

No coach which is a reasonable excuse.
To be perfectly frank Hinez, under the circumstances, Parra performed valiantly. They really deserve credit for hanging in as much as they did and you should be proud of your side.

Mate, I hope you guys get your troops back and make a good fist of it, and hopefully see you in the big one. :)

The team tried hard, they have tried hard all year. But our attack is rubbish and has been for the last two months. He keeps dribbling about defence and he's no worried about attack. 3 weeks out from the finals he should be worried. He's a potato.

Shut up merkin, just goes to show this forum is full of merkins.
They hate that the battlers from Penrith are showing signs of success and would rather the fancy merkins from Bondi and Toorak get the accolades.
This place sucks.

I think there's a combination of factors that have people hating panthers this year.
Ivan has kind of exposed himself as a bit of a dick over the last few years.
They have some real merkins in their team like Luai. I don't think there's a player I hate more than him right now.
Then there's the Phil Gould factor, who is the grand wizard of smug... nuff said.

If you're hated by lots of people in RL then you must be doing something right...

Who does the attack coaching? BA seems very much like Hook in he can prepare a side. They try but lack the polish
