Just saw NRL 360, and Benji has put his hand up and admitted that his form is poor, but he is not going anywhere contrary to rumours.

It also is just another example of how much of a joke the Dally Ms are when all the click bait journos were screaming how he was coming second in the leaderboard when both the coach and player knew he wasn’t playing good enough

Of course the danger man Yeo, destined for origin ;) (although I do think he is a very good player) the difference is shutting down middle forwards is much easier (in theory) and at our best our middles are capable of matching it with the Panthers and having such a threat out of dummy half will hopefully tire out your middle faster than they are used to.

But with Kikau up against Reynolds, if Kikau has only half a good a game as he is capable Reynolds will get torn to shreds

Kikau is the biggest weapon obviously but the middle is where we are winning games this season. Fish, Tamou and Yeo are all awesome on both sides of the ball this year and there isnt much of a drop off when Leota and Tetevano come on, both are having great seasons off the bench. We have played some good sides in recent weeks and our middle has more then held our own. If we are to win this week i think it will be more likely off the back of the middle forwards dominating rather thank Kikau dominating, if we win that is.

Even though packer cost us a few weeks ago I’d be tempted to play him off the bench because you know penrith are gonna be very physical. That, and the fact we are still riding the coat tails of a flukey try MCK scored against the bunnies a year ago. He’s bog average

Yeah, we might as well go old school and tell him if he is going to be dumb enough to get suspended again to make sure he take at least one of the panthers out with him

I see this sort of talk on the Tigers site. The target is usually Nathan Cleary, presumably because they thought they were getting him and didn't. Do you blokes really think this is your only chance in this game, and that it will actually help?

Well Cleary is probably the main link man...but it’s more likely just tigers fans taking the piss and you’re taking it too literally

This.

Doesn't matter, they can target Cleary as much as they like. He's a tough little merkin so would probably just smile and score a try anyway. The big chinned beauty he is.

Haha Its only natural to target the main player. Who else are we going to target, try scoring machine Dean Whare?

Funny you should say that, because this is precisely what he did a couple of years back while at the Dragons. Got away with it too. Might not have been Whare, the old memory gets hazy, but I sure remember the hit.

Edit: Just looked back to the game day thread. It wasn't Whare. It was Hiku playing where Whare should have been.

I don’t think Wests fans have anything against Nathan, probably feel it’s just a way to get at his Dad

I can understand the ill-feelings around Ivan Cleary and his departure from the West Tigers but surely at some point it is just best for all concerned, particularly the West Tigers as an entire club to move on.

It is pertinent to point out a majority of Panthers fans were not exactly over joyed to see Ivan Cleary return to the club given most felt we should have gone in another direction.

It is what it is.

Hopefully, it will be a good game tomorrow night and may the best team win.
