@Peter Quinn If it is true, maybe it means Arrow is staying put up there for 2020 and that we have to wait til 21 which wouldn’t be ideal as you know we have lost 5 forwards and so far not bought any.

Murray gets a quick play the ball, Cook runs out of dummy half, fires the ball out to Reynolds, on to Walker who's picks out Mitchell. 4 points. We could get 2 middle forwards and 2 edge off here to play.

I highly doubt we'll get any news today. If there was gonna be a Press Conference, the media would be all over it by now.

Looks like no xmas present
I knew there wouldn’t be news today, everyone is getting ready for Christmas now.
I get the feeling LM will be still at the Rorters in 2020.
If he is in love with Souths he would have signed by now.
Once a Chook always a Vhook
Keep in mind there has been talk we are waiting to see what Arrow does, also talk we are looking into TPA’s for Latrell and also that Easts now have had to pay Latrell’s 2020 contract for November, December and January now, so if they really do want him out Latrell has played this perfectly as Rorters would be paying part of his contract.

Like you say it is not likely Easts would release him to us, but maybe there really is a fractured relationship there behind closed doors and Latrell is just saying the right things to media now and being professional in the hopes that they will then release him.

A number of rumours have been around the last 4-6 weeks in general that Latrell’s and Politis’ relationship is quite fractured.

4. RABBITOHS

Predicted spine: 1. Alex Johnston 6. Cody Walker 7. Adam Reynolds 9. Damien Cook

Analysis: The Rabbitohs have arguably the best half and hooker combination in the NRL, with Walker, Reynolds and Cook having played a lot of games together over the last few seasons. Cook is arguably the best hooker in the game and his speed out of dummyhalf allows his halves to get front foot ball. Alex Johnston missed a large chunk of last season with injury, but at his best has the potential to be a try-scoring machine for the Rabbitohs and Adam Doueihi provides healthy competition at the back.
