Given only one or 2 of em are likely to get a run, i would have thought they would get reed in the squad for some exposure ... but i guess they prefer an old head around the camp instead

They are playing 3 games in quick succession. There is a school of thought that game 3 team will look different to game 1 team.

Game I
Wednesday 4th November 2020, Adelaide Oval

Game II
Wednesday 11th November 2020, ANZ Stadium

Game III
Wednesday 18th November 2020, Suncorp Stadium

If the series is on the line in game 3, i reckon they play their best players so long as they arent injured. Maybe you rest some dudes game 2? .... depends who is fit for the qld halves .... i think we would agree Grant is prob #1 dummy half. Hunt i would think might get a bench gig if he doesnt start in the halves as he provides cover.

Tedesco a concern for Origin one.
Plus I reckon Freddy will give most of the grand finalists Origin squad members a rest from game 1 to freshen up (other than superstar Cleary).

My Origin GAME 1 side

1. Gutho (Papenhuyzen if not rested)
2. Topou (Ado Carr if not rested)
3. Wighton
4. Lomax
5. Cotric
6. Keary
7. Cleary
8. JPaulo
9. Cook
10. Saifiti
11. Frizzel
12. Cordner
13. JakeT

14. CMurray
15. Haas/RCG.
16. Crighton/NBrown
17. Walker

The NSW squad seems short of edge forwards. Frizell (who often plays in the middle for NSW), Angus Crichton and Cordner (who is a head knock away from a stroke) seem to be the only guys who play edge week in, week out. I was surprised Wade Graham wasn't in the squad.

I tend not to take much notice of other teams, evidenced by the fact that I hardly know anything about these merkins. Would know them if I tripped over them.

Agree .... it seems odd .... I can only assume Murray is considered an edge option - they did play him on the edge alot for Souths this year, tho I reckon he is a better middle ..... and Yeo could probably go to an edge if needed - but again, has played middle all year

Ricky had an entire team of edges .... now freddy has gone the opposite

how many people they letting in to watch?

I'm not sure. I think capacity is about 50 000 so I assume it's half. I don't reckon there'll be that many tickets available unless a heap of people got their money back from earlier in the year.

All that matters. they have picked your favourite player as the only halfback in the squad :D

Is Carrigan their best #13? ... i would think Collins might be likely to get a run ... and suspect they will blood Harry

Their spine is pretty decent ... DCE, Munster are quality ... Brimson is in form ... and i reckon Grant/Hunt is a good combo
