I think that not playing Mansour is a mistake for the bunnies, he would brought a LOT of passion to the team, which might be a big difference.

just watched the 91 grand final. omg i had forgotten how good of a game it was.
The Smith no try would have to be the worst decision ever in a Grand Final. Worse than the six again reversal of 2019. Harrigan knew it was a try, but his hands were tied. The linesman, Martin (TV) Weekes, who was formerly a ref, found himself running the line in reserve grade in subsequent years and continued to run on and make ridiculous calls in big games.

We exploited him under the high ball and defensively in the 2 games we beat Souths. He was missing when they beat us.

If they picked him they would have no chance.

We carved them up everywhere. Up the middle and both edges that game. Hard to say it was because of one player when you open up the other side of the field one off the ruck like Yeo did for that Capewell try.

NRL Tonight last night....24 minutes screen time...2 minutes discussing us (and basically turned it into a souths segment with satts talking about his dad when he tried to talk about us)
The more pressure and expectation on them the better. As much as it would really suck for us to lose two grand finals in a row, if they lose it’s quite likely their window is shut at least for a few years with Reynolds and Wayne leaving.

There’s not much more to be said about our side. We’ve been doing what we do for 2 years now.

After soaking it all up last year, I'm limiting my consumption of the GF build up this year, especially on Fox League. I don't need to hear everyone's 'expert views' on how Souths are going to win because they are too fresh and in form for us or even if they think Penrith are going to win because we might have more big game players, our defence is better and that we'll learn from last year. I'm just waiting for Sunday Night to see what actually happens.
