Annesley talked about this one. It looked borderline to me. Grade 1 and a fine at the very most.

What's borderline ? He hit him flush on the head and knocked him senseless. Players have been given 2 weeks off for less. There's also the NRL's promise to crack down on sh*t like that to protect the kickers. Borderline my arse.

Well my opinion having watched various angles is that it was borderline. The MRC agreed. You and Annnesley didn't. It's the MRC opinion that matters. Isn't it a great country we live in that we can have different opinions.

" Borderline " isn't an opinion it's a cop out. Explain " borderline " in this case. Do you think Keppie didn't hit him high because he obviously did, do you think it didn't cause Reynolds to be forced off the field because it obviously did. Do you think that kind of tackle on kickers or anyone else is acceptable because it's not.

it's unbelievable Feldt will cop a few weeks for what I would consider to be a great tackle

it's even more unbelievable considering he made the same tackle in the same game twice, one got put on report and the other didn't

I thought the same live, good tackle, play on, but on replay the bloke landed on the back of his neck, it needs to be penalised.

yep penalised and no more. Momentum put him in a dangerous position, landing back of neck far less dangerous than traditional spear tackle, also no downward force into the ground

Why is the grading less for Kaufusi then? And as if he has no priors
It's not grading that's the issue, it's that they're two completely different charges. One is a Crusher Tackle and one is Dangerous Contact.

But why does a crusher have more points ? I’m not disputing what’s written it’s completely wrong when one player sought to concuss and succeeded while the other player got a slightly sore neck for a second. It’s not just

I mean you kind of answered your own question, but for some reason think that potential spinal injury is less serious than a concussion.

Nah I just think one tackle on the weekend has got more chance to seriously injure than the other and the player who committed the act is sitting out for one less week. and happens to play for a successful team.

Did taunoa browns actions have any impact on the player? Not at all, still a suspension is fine. Not disputing that.

did Kaufusis act have any impact on the the player? Big yes. It was a deliberate act to take him out of the game but no sin bin and only two weeks.

All tackles are judged against the same code, they're not judged against tackles on the same weekend.

Crusher Tackles carry a greater immediate risk to health and safety given the neck/spine concerns. Concussion, while a serious ongoing issue, isn't as immediate a threat.

boohoo nothing in it. A.Rey has a glass jaw.

On the bold bit obviously it is acceptable lol hence no case to answer.

What time today can we expect Munster to be charged for the latest act of Storm grubbery?
The refs/bunker may still be too gutless to penalise, because they are scared of Martina's dildo, but at least the match review flogs are finally having a crack.

The shitter you are, the more likely to get a charge.

But most people don't miss the common denominator.
