How weak is this competition..
You bit at thatThe tears will Bellamy's. He's off to the Sharks next year, yeah?
So, I’m really happy with this decision - it’s completely the wrong decision based on the recent interpretations, and Cleary should be missing time, but I’m more than happy for this to be the way it’s applied moving forward. It's a farce , watch what happens the next time some pleb does it , but now they have an argument to fight such a charge .
See that’s just another thing you have wrong. The tears will Bellamy's. He's off to the Sharks next year, yeah?
I agree with the sentiment, but do you really believe that is how it will now be applied or rather selective application depending on the player/team.So, I’m really happy with this decision - it’s completely the wrong decision based on the recent interpretations, and Cleary should be missing time, but I’m more than happy for this to be the way it’s applied moving forward.
I’ve long said, not having the ability to turn side on and brace for the impact like Cleary does is actually dangerous for the defender, particularly in situations like a drop out or kick off where you’ve got a prop steaming in at full speed - if the defender doesn’t dip the shoulder, and instead attempts to wrap his arms, he’s opening his face and head for contact, all it then takes is a slight mis-time, or some late footwork by the attacker and the defender is taking full force in the head and a concussion. A shoulder charge type tackle (not head high) is sometimes the safest tackle.
Seriously when we won the comp in 2016 the master of modern Rugby League Phill Gould said that we won a soft competition, I wonder what he feels about this year and last year. It's very very weak Zod.
Almost unwatchable

Cannot stand the Cleary’s, would love to see someone snot the pair of em. And I’m sure if that tackle had been made by a Victor Radley, Jack Hetherington or Talakai etc, it would be a big ban coming.I agree with the sentiment, but do you really believe that is how it will now be applied or rather selective application depending on the player/team.
As an aside has there ever been a more smug pair than the Cleary's?
And what would Phil say about his panthers if they don’t win the comp this year. I know a lot hate the storm, but aside from our win in 2016, I couldn’t have been more pleased to see the panthers getting owned in the GF last year.Seriously when we won the comp in 2016 the master of modern Rugby League Phill Gould said that we won a soft competition, I wonder what he feels about this year and last year.
It is really amazing (not) that so many club scoring records have been broken this season.
All these close scoring games have had me on the edge of 'me' seat.
I am pretty sure that the game has now outgrown moi.
Cleary won’t get suspended because he doesn’t have prior offences like Hetherington or Radley do. That’s also why they won’t use it as precedent at a judicial hearing plus it wasn’t even that bad.
Also Penrith are nowhere near even close to the most unlikeable team in the Comp. say what you want about the Cleary’s but that club has built itself from the ground up and produced probably 90% of its own players that fill their squad. That to me is far more admirable than buying a comp like the roosters did or parramatta is trying to do.
The thought of Melbourne winning another comp makes me sick. f**k that club.
