Grant '20 penalties per match' Atkins is referee
So which team is he more biased to?
skeepe may know?

I don't buy into that. My comment was more his innate ability to get in the way and ruin the flow of matches with his overly pedantic approach to refereeing. Not what you want for a game like this. That and he talks to players like they're pond scum. Can't stand him as a referee.So which team is he more biased to?

You mean the Roosters have injuries? Please tell us all about it?Penrith would be about 12th if they had the equivalent injuries to us.
You know it's true.
This year's Easts team reminds me of the 2014 Panthers when during the season the Panthers were losing players left right and centre, yet managed to make it to 4th spot, win the first final only to get beat in the prelim by the Dogs.Penrith would be about 12th if they had the equivalent injuries to us.

Didn't I? O.K., "Brisbane played good against us." GP.What a load of horse shit
Against Brisbane you gave 0 credit to the opposition, all you wanted to do was reference the players you were missing
Penrith have only once this season had a score of over 19 points (v Sharks) against us which was V Storm 37-10.Login • Instagram

This score of Souths putting 26 on us, has me somewhat baffled.
I'd say JFH and TPJ will come in at the expense of Hopgood and Eisenhuth. It would be interesting to what difference that makes in the sim. The ones I've followed since you started posting them seem to be fairly accurate result wise. I havent paid that much attention to the actual scorelines.Ok a couple of things I can attribute to that;
1. It's not the top 1-17 that Penrith have named, their full-strength team is much stronger with To'o and JFH named. 2021 Penrith have all-time top defense stats, but a couple of big players are missing in this simulation.
2. Souths just broke a record for most consecutive 30+ points in NRL history (8). They're also on pace to be the second or third best attacking team of all-time.
That's how it's come to that scoreline, at least part of it. We shall see how it goes! But I do want to say if the team that runs out is different for Panthers then I expect the simulation result to be quite different.
We gave up 26 vs the Tigers but that was with an horrendously depleted side. Nothing like the one that will take the field Friday.Penrith have only once this season had a score of over 19 points (v Sharks) against us which was V Storm 37-10.

The fact that two or maybe even three teams are on track to beat the former record this year, especially in points per game, must surely tell you something. It has been made easier to score points, so you're comparing apples with oranges.They're also on pace to be the second or third best attacking team of all-time.
Appreciate the feedback but I know what I’m accounting for, and apple, oranges and bananas are being factored into it.The fact that two or maybe even three teams are on track to beat the former record this year, especially in points per game, must surely tell you something. Oh, I didn't realise it was a simulation. I have noticed them before, but not taken any notice except for the scorelines. What is it's progress since it has been applied?Ok a couple of things I can attribute to that;

Missed that one although I looked through the results twice.We gave up 26 vs the Tigers but that was with an horrendously depleted side. Nothing like the one that will take the field Friday.
heyyyyyyy.......that's MY line!DRAGONS
Seriously though.heyyyyyyy.......that's MY line!
Not a criticism, I think it's interesting.Appreciate the feedback but I know what I’m accounting for, and apple, oranges and bananas are being factored into it.
Really interesting work Jono. Is there a post somewhere that explains how the model works in more detail?For those that were curious, here's a full strength Panthers vs full strength Rabbitohs.. As you can see, across 100 simulations these teams are fairly even, the real ladder suggests just as much thus far this season.

Souffs 12.76% below their overall win rate under him.So which team is he more biased to?
