He didn’t help his cause by refusing to apologise and pleading the accident card which would be easy to do given they’re mates. Souths should‘ve pushed him into it tbh.

I think you see it plenty of times but yes, Jared does hold the ball quite high but again, I think it’s defensive and not intended to attack the opponent‘s throat.

Ive always liked Manu. To see him so distressed was horrendous. I know family and friends that are in junior pipelines and we’re all ‘what if that was y/our kid hit?’
It might be unpopular as a Souths member but Latrell was plain wrong. And it needs to be addressed ASAP.

I just hope Manu is ok and getting the best care he can.

Saying it was an unfortunate accident is in no way saying you don't care about Manu. I wish him the best but I'm not going to use it to say Trell is in the wrong. He was going in for a big hit as Manu was starting to fall. It's happened before and it will happen again. The only way to prevent it to is to say you can only tackle below the waist.

I have attended the last 4 games up here in Qld and watched Latrell closely on and off the ball. He has been on “tilt” with some of his behaviour and he has been pushing the envelope more and more each game. Maybe if he was checked for the Brimson incident he may have pulled his head in. My fear for the last few weeks was something like this was bound to happen !

I'll respect the clubs decision. I think they realise that the court of public opinion has already given their verdict. Good to see Taafe getting the nod, I'm sure he'll do us proud!

So is JWH he ruined Liam Knight career the other year when Knight was heavily concussed and blood was flying every from the swinging arm and JWH fully got off. Funny how you haven’t mentioned that. Knight hasn’t been the same player since.
