I’m starting to like this coming years member hat except it doesn’t feel as comfortable to me as the 2020 one.

But we need more.


I was talking to a mate today and he said the stereotype Souths are rich as we have rich owners which automatically means we have loads of money, sadly this is not the case.

We're lucky in that respect though also as they basically gifted the club $7m a few years ago in forgiven loans. Something they didn't have to do. We can’t expect our owners to bail us out every time......

We do not get money and revenue from having a Leagues Club. Really the club is dependent on us the members more so than other clubs are...... if we wanna be successful as well our juniors and pathways systems are vital cogs in that and our membership money goes towards that. Our club can’t be a powerhouse for years to come without the members!.....

One cant be rich if they reside on the other side of Anzac Parade though :) - If Crowe moves on from Souths maybe you can do a Green Bay Packers and be a publicly owned non profit corporation.
