Yep there are big wraps on Duncan.

What do you reckon Southy would you have someone like a Tom Amone or Dean Britt back? I reckon I’d take them back. My preference would be Tom Amone though to replace Mago.

Tom and I met earlier this year after his first game for us.

Here’s shots from his first hit up in wt colours:

Tom was very generous with his time and very grateful for accolades.

He seemed quite exhausted after the match, needs more cardio I reckon, but I wouldn’t last 5 minutes out there.

I’m a bit of a Tom fan, he’s only 24. He needs a club that will put a lot of time into his game, the extra yard and I think he could be quite handy. I’d like to keep him, but we are running out of time to develop players. Heats really on.

Thanks for the like @callmack1 .

Th bosses at League Unlimited also gratefully received some of my photos of my game experience to add to their stock library, use as they want.

It was very gratifying for me to give something back to the LU HQ.

Doesn’t stop you getting moderated etc, business as usual on the tough and ruthless streets of the forum!

But the forum is only part of the wider LU. People forget that.

@Jim Rockford, looking at things in the cold light of day, I’m expecting a decline in the Rabbitohs next year. Not being horrible but natural attrition and youngsters to blood.

Such is current power ratio, I think you could still cop a full 15% overall devolution and still make the finals next year.

What are your thoughts. Is there any genuine chance of top 4 next year or would it be 8-5th?

I should say that I am ok with 5-8 grandfinalling.

Who will replace Renno, do you need to buy or loan a stock halfback?

What is ad like v Wayne as a coach?

I think there will be a slight drop as the youngsters find their feet. I think Top4 might be just out of reach next year but 5th-8th is almost a certainty. As for Reynos replacement the consensus seems to be Lachlan Ilias. Those who follow the juniors have big wraps on him. Someone posted a highlights video here in our forum. Hopefully Cody will still be here to help guide him. As for the coach, it's tough to follow in the footsteps of a legend like Wayne, but I think JD will do just fine if he just tries to be himself and back his abilities. Definitely interesting times ahead but I think we will be one of the top clubs again after next year. Hopefully your Tigers can work on solving their woes and you'll have something to cheer about again.

Well it’s my understanding that ad Is doing a lot of the coaching already but Wayne is furiously committed to the title tilt.

I still think their might be some residual guilt in him from his less than favourable remarks about you when you were punted after the war.

He said of the ousting that he felt sorry for Souths fans but it was footy reality. It was a too bit smug for mine.

As it turned out, justice was metered out by the courts on News Ltd and on the streets and Wayne was wrong. News could have fought it, but they were losing pr.

Whenever you hear the big corporate interests talk their rationalist nonsense, it’s an assault on the families and volunteers that make the game financially viable.

They want a new side in Queensland, Wayne is interested due to his knifing up there.

Anyway, he wants this title, it’s very personal you can sense it. He will bring all of his might and power to the campaign. Players will die before they let him down. Lats being out should bring more cohesion. He was always a bit of an outsider. You get that with the gifted sometimes.

On the tigers front, Madge has declared there are only 5 players we really want to keep as a priority. He calls them “ core group”

1. Shawn Blore
2. Stefano
3. Lucy
4. Laurie
5. Adam Douhie.

Theres some big names such as Brooks, twal and Nofo who are signed etc, but they didn’t come into his mind when asked. Freudian slip?

Hastings is a great buy we worked on for months and months. To put pressure on the halves like Brooks and Dougie I think.

People say we should start again, but I think Madge is right about this core group.

He’s not right about too much sometimes!

Plenty of cash, we are being patient with Marquee though. A bit too much lol.

Cody would be a godsend..

Dogs not looking to fire Adam Elliot now but are ok if he looks for an opportunity elsewhere.

Would he be worth the risk if he came cheap (with dogs chipping in)?

Sorry Phantom, but hopefully Cody is going nowhere! I do think you would be much better off by cutting Brooks loose. He's never going to get better than he is now (and that's not very good at all). I do hope for your (and my brother-in-laws) sake you guys can sort things out and become a competitive team again. I would much rather seeing you guys doing well than scum like the Rorters or the Melbourne Drizzle.
