As there are two 2nd rowers in a team you would think that it would make sense to be able to select two.Would’ve been good to be able to pick two players in the vote.
Really?!
Played his best football in the middle. Should be a lock for 13 (no pun), but they're obviously trying to get Murray in that jersey.
Don't agree with a few of these selections tbh - Georgie B had a stand out 2014, but for the rest of his time at Souths, he's clearly been the inferior twin.
Good call on Crocker. Unlike Fletcher who only came here for the pay-cheque, Mick gave his all for the club.Agree, though I'd be looking at Crocker in 13.
For me:
8. Asotasi
9. Luke
10. Sam
11. Sutton
12. McQueen (debatable)
13. Crocker

I agree with that except I'd have Te'o in place of McQueen.Agree, though I'd be looking at Crocker in 13.

And if all of them were in their prime at the same time, man what a devestatingly scary pack that'd be to go up against.
Indeed, it would be the equal of our pack in 1989.And if all of them were in their prime at the same time, man what a devestatingly scary pack that'd be to go up against.
I'm glad you brought this up because I was thinking the exact same thing when I typed that post, but didn't mention it because I wanted to stay focused on the original point I was making.Indeed, it would be the equal of our pack in 1989.
Without a doubt the best club pack I've ever seen. Don't forget they laid the platform for Souths to be the first team to beat every other team on their own home grounds that year.I'm glad you brought this up because I was thinking the exact same thing when I typed that post, but didn't mention it because I wanted to stay focused on the original point I was making.
And now that you bring it up, I always thought that side was the greatest team to never win the comp. And arguably one of Souths' all time great forward packs.
Roberts, Fenech, Boyle, Davidson, Chisolm, Andrews
What a pack!
And if Silverdale Phantom is lurking, I'll bring him in on this convo. The absolute battle of the titans when this pack went up against Roach, Elias, Edmed, Sironen, McGuire, Pearce.
I was a just turned young adult when this was rivalry going down 1986-1989, I remember the games, the hits, the punch ups, and that bout between Roach and Davidson, a full on heavyweight title bout! If this happened in today's game, they'd both be in gaol, on attempted murder charges LOL
Yeah 12 straight.Without a doubt the best club pack I've ever seen. Don't forget they laid the platform for Souths to be the first team to beat every other team on their own home grounds that year.
I was so sure we were going to bounce back from the Tigers loss and beat the Raiders but it just wasn't to be. Still a damn enjoyable year to be a Souths fan.Yeah 12 straight.
Minor Premiers.
Just bad luck they had to run into the Tigers first up, and the Canberra who seemed to come out of nowhere to win the title

Yeah but look at who was in the Canberra team.Yeah 12 straight.
