You’ll always lose some talent especially with the salary cap and us having went deep into finals the last 3 seasons.... but all things considered I think our club has gone about it all in a good manner.

Agree. It's been a strong 18 months in recruitment for the club imo. The ins far outweigh the outs and have the club in a good position to challenge for a premiership in 2021.

I dont have any inside knowledge assess but I would say the club wouldn't be so stupid as to not resign him. He is an absolute beast on the edge.

He hasnt resigned yet, ive heard he has recieved offers from at least 3 other clubs, st merge,roosters and another i dont know who,id say perhaps the broncos want him back and we are in trouble trying to keep him,we should have acted faster,like the suualli incident,we dropped the ball time wise, and we may lose him

I'd be very surprised if it's as simple as that. The truth is most likely that he and his agent aren't willing to negotiate just yet because they believe his value will rise as the season goes on.

If he has recieved offers from three other clubs then it's actually good news that he is still unsigned. It means nobody has met his terms yet.

It's a tough decision because if you resign him early on good money he might turn out to be not worth the money. I think South Sydney has learned it's lesson from signing blokes on long term contracts. If Su'a is interested in leaving and pursuing money I don't think we should pay overs for him. He's not a game breaker like Mitchell or Walker but South Sydney appears to be a very happy camp. I don't think many players are going to be looking at the Roosters and Broncos as appealing destinations. Roosters are on the slide big time and the Broncos are going through a dramatic rebuild. I'd say a successful season will assist Su'a in making his decision.

If you are right I think a bigger disgrace than offering AR a 1 yr contract is offering Taaffe no contract. In the Charity Shield Taaffe’s positional defence at FB is the best I’ve seen since Slater. He should be our future half. If he’s not in our thinking it’s a crying shame.
