Surprised by Steve Smiths shot last night. Not so much the shot but how early it was for him to be taking a risk like that knowing the wicket was doing a lot early. You expect that shot form a Davey or Maxy

Glad I slept through this one. That's some beat down.
Bigger choke than anything Parra have ever managed if England don't win this tournament.
We're like the Titans, happy to make the Semi's and if a we lose a final on the final ball we've got a good story about how unlucky we were for the folks back home.

Two words. Pathetic Australia.

Blame CA tho for constantly picking non specialist white ball cricketers. Our Test attack may be among the best in world cricket but as white ball bowlers they generally suck when the chips are down. Like last nite. They keep picking Maxwell and Stoinis as our saviours. No way they deliver big from one in five games.. and both have a p*** weak record in major white ball tournaments. Surely now our selectors must acknowledge that Starc's career is done and dusted and must be moved on.

Warne was right about batting Maxwell lower in this match. The problem is the guys below him weren't good options to bat up the order anyway. I suppose I would have sent Wade up.

He is utterly wrong about Smith and its embarrassing that he holds that opinion. Granted he played a terrible shot but I'd back him to score runs on that wicket everytime. Marsh is competing for Stoinis' position, not Smith's.

On reflection, Im not too worried just yet

Might have done us the world of good.

India got bend over by Pakistan, no one writing them off

Back on track by belting Bangers and WI prior the semi finals, then anything can happen

Yeah coming 2nd isnt the worst thing if we get there. And play pakistan who can implode at any moment.

Compared to india who are tougher to beat on any given day. They will have to play England if they get through.

It wad more the way we lost compared to just losing a tight match

Hope NZ win tonight, at this point I am just looking to see teams get beat that I definitely don't want to win it. India for me is at the top of that list. Cannot stand the way Indians act on Facebook, they think they have the best of everything at all times.. it could be a discussion of Smith vs Joe Root or something and then an Indian will roll in "yeah but Kohli"

They are the Penrith fans of the cricketing world
