Should be some sort of quotient system with runs and wickets. Pakistan beat India by 10 wickets which is a thrashing, but did it with 2 overs to spare which didn't increase the NRR much.

Either that or just do bilateral series of 7 super overs to decide who progresses

Actually, after some thought, this wouldn't work. Imagine a team conceding 5/220 and then scoring 0/90 in reply to protect their quotient/average. I think NRR might be the best system they can do. In the case of a two way tie, you could use the winner of the pool game, but doesn't work in case of 3+ way ties.

Afghanistan picking up the pace after losing early wickets.

Wonder who England would be cheering for. India in form is a scary prospect.
NZ have mastered flying under the radar. They just keep turning up at the business end of these tournaments while more 1fancied teams get left watching from home.

If I am an English fan I am absolutely hoping NZ win this game, India had a terrible start to the tournament but they have a powerhouse team

As it stands though it won't matter as Afghanistan are struggling

NZ chasing 125 to make the finals.
Advantage NZ. Afghan bowlers would have like 30 or even more runs to play with.
Who knows with Rashid and Mujeeb though if they can get a few early wickets

The whole, NZ just go under the radar thing, is getting amusing... World Test Champions, Runners up in two consecutive ODI World Cups (last one on an obscure rule) - maybe we're actually a good cricket side at the moment?

Not sure what to make of T20 tbh, but good cricketers are good cricketers IMO

Do you guys have radar? You've only got like 1 biplane and 1 tug boat in your navy/air force.
