Will depend on how many members turn up tonight, though Eels v Storm could push closer to 25K... there aren't many seats left at CommBank for public sale.

Any members who don't turn up are a disgrace. Crowd should be 29,500 tonight no exceptions.

Would you say they should move the game if it were Parramatta’s home game?
Or if the Roosters beat South’s should it be at Accor!
Penrith won the right to a home final and that’s it!
Unless all finals are at neutral venues SHUT UP!

I get your point. But this is business.

The NRL owns the finals series, and will need to be commercial here, regardless of who won the ‘right’.

Millions of dollars is at stake with this dream matchup for the NRL. Parra beating Penrith twice, Cleary back from suspension. The media will be wild, they want bums on seats. 60,000+ at Accor will be the target.

under similar circumstances do you switch Easts v South’s from Allianz to Accor, and Cronulla v Cowboys to anywhere, and the deny Melbourne their home final? Seems fair but only if all games are switched!

Easts V Souths they would be satisfied with 42k. I do think they’ll move Cronulla v Cowboys to Allianz too.

Melbourne would stay in Melbourne. At the end of the day they’ll get home cities. This is the price some clubs will pay for playing out of derelict shitholes as their home ground for the regular season.

With the right time slot, good weather, marketing and price it absolutely could. Parramatta have by far the biggest supporter base in Sydney and we have seen evidence of that in past finals series.
