I love the whole "Roosters were killing Souths until they took out Tedesco" angle I've heard in a few places. It was 8-6. Shortly after, they had 13 on 11 and a full set on our line. Crichton then got belted by Ilias and lost the ball twice. They then conceded one try and almost another.

They played 11 men for 34 minutes and couldn't muster a single point - and they had all their guns bar Tedesco for 20 minutes of that.

They weren't good enough, they tried to stand up to us and they lost. End of story.

Onto this game, it'll be a different match. We'll see some actual football.

Lost in GP to the Sharks after Latrell left his kicking boots at home.
Only lost to the Panthers (albeit weakened) due to Paulo's all-time shocker.

Now just completely bashed the form team in the competition outside the Panthers.

We'll find some gaps against the Sharks. In turn they'll throw a LOT more shape at us than the Roosters did.

Defence will win this.

Liam Martin played just as bad as Paulo in that game. Sharks will win this comfortably

Great read mate. Sharks have been punching above their weight all year, time for a reality check.

Oh I think the Sharks are a better attacking side than the Roosters. They play with a lot of width and shape and options in attack.

With the way both sides move the ball, I think edge defence will decide this one.

Is that sort of the same as saying Souths would’ve won the GF last year if Fatrell played??

I agree but we did bomb three tries. I think missing Teddy and Manu combined sealed our fate.

The best thing about this week will be watching Gal flatten Hodgo.
This game will be a dogfight and the half of whoever loses will cop a pasting on social media.

Two first year head coaches with their sides one win from a prelim. Should be a cracking game of footy. Souffs will miss the Burgess go forward but not his usual penalties and potential sin bin. Sharks by 4.
