Grow a set? NIB are paying the money, more likely do you (Newcastle) want the money or not, that's our corporate logo, that's what is displayed! It's not as if companies are knocking Newcastle's door down to be a major sponsor. If that was the case, then maybe they could grow a set and ask the question, not demand! You need to understand how sponsorship works - looking good on a jersey has nothing to do with it except in how OBVIOUS it is! The more the better - hence this jersey design.Newcastle only have themselves to blame for the nib sponsorship block. They need to grow a set and let the sponsor know how it’ll look on the jersey not the other way round

Yeah this
My understanding is companies will pay more to have their logo more prominent (bigger/in colour) or if a club requests for it to be integrated/monotone they may reduce their payment - obviously depending on how in demand the club is changes who has the power in this kind of negotiation
It's also my understanding the knights aren't exactly rolling in cash, so have probably happily sold off majority of the jersey to a big f off green box in order to squeeze as much cash as they can
JFC, someone struck a nerve.Grow a set? NIB are paying the money, more likely do you (Newcastle) want the money or not, that's our corporate logo,
Going the gold route, fancy that as soon as dolphins announce their third color, bronx go and metalic their YELLOW..One of the Broncos new training shirts. Kinda like it.
I mean, it looks fairly similar to the yellows they've used in the past, I think you're probably reading a bit into the angle and shadows of a photo.Going the gold route, fancy that as soon as dolphins announce their third color, bronx go and metalic their YELLOW..
Looks like penrith 50th anniversary kit from 2017
A quiet word along the lines of, “great to have you as sponsor but do you really want your company branding to look so sht to everyone?“ might not go amiss!
I wonder how many jersey sales they miss out on due to the terrible look of it?

Yeah i dont see us reverting to teal and rust, or whatever the fk they were thinking back in the 2000s, im ok with revamping or bringing back jersey designs from back then as long as the colors remain black with the 3 R/Y/G stripes, as for the anniversary it was a darker gold, light bronze, not our chocolate brown, but it was a great combo for that year...TBH, I thought the shade used in 2016 was a blend of gold (golden anniversary) but also brown which was used up to 1990. Would have been happy enough for that to be retained as the scheme from 2017 but even happier that the licorice all sorts came back. I am hoping that is now the scheme for decades to come.
In March or April?..and yeah im sure the bronx new about the 3rd dolphins color a while back. Hell i even knew about before the winning bid was announced, they had mentioned tossing up between Charcoal Grey or Gold. I was thinking why not both, since they are only trim colors anyways, works with the cowboys (grey and gold)
You're right, march it was, but march in 2019In March or April?
In the famous words of Braith: You're off your head
North Brisbane Dolphins, would be the morso close to St.George Illawarra merger team, but games would definitely be at Suncorp minimum 8 home games a year, the remaining 4 at dolphins oval
The colors would need to not only be the red and white of redcliffe but reflect sunshine coast also, either be gold, red and white, or silver/grey, red, gold,
It has to new and far from maroon to not clash with the broncos, any upgrade to their stadium would be at there own cost, Titans should represent South Queensland, Meninga's right about a 2nd brisbane team affecting the titans
But if its a purely northern suburbs dolphins team maybe not as much
Even though the Firehawks bid didn't get chosen, at least they spooked Wests Tigers into using orange more - the one colour that currently distinguishes them from every other NRL team.Orange trim at most till this '21 seasons away came in
Yeah that was my 1st thought when the WESTS club finally decided on an orange dominated jerseyEven though the Firehawks bid didn't get chosen, at least they spooked Wests Tigers into using orange more - the one colour that currently distinguishes them from every other NRL team.
This is all very excellent overreach given you're literally using your own speculation as proof lol. You're right, march it was, but march in 2019
Redcliffe most likely to be the next expansion team according to the Telegraph
Lol at broncos ceo squirming on league life when asked about another Brisbane club.forums.leagueunlimited.com
Funnily enough if i knew about this, and most of the expansion forum followers did aswell, the dolphins bid page talked about incorporating a new third color to spread themselves from the red & white of Redcliffe, we all guessed it would be gold or silver or both, main thing is that Broncos have always called their colors Maroon and Gold, but its always really been Maroon, White and a trim of yellow...
Just like the Wests Tigers are Gold pfft..
