We had a record 10,728 paid Members join the Titans Legion in 2022, surpassing even our foundation tally in 2007.

With pre-season commencing on November 1, the men's squad will return from off season with a renewed focus on improvement for '23.

Only having 10k members in a market the GC's size simply isn't good enough.

The Raiders for example are already over 10k for 2023, and we're not a big club.

Maybe the NRL needs to step in at some of these clubs and give them some assistance to better market themselves, or give them a rap on the knuckles if needs be.

the heat should be on any club that isnt getting up around 20k members by now! We are supposed to be a top tier popular sport. How can you not have 20k people wanting to support you?

Last year the NRL 'spent' $24.5mill in contra advertising! They should be ramming club membership down our throats, you shouldn't be able to watch, read or listen to Nine or News ltd media without constantly being encouraged to be a member of your club. Its no surprise the biggest membership growth was int he years the NRL marketed it and employed a team to sell them. Most clubs are useless at marketing!
I'm always surprised clubs dont have big pushes around Xmas time, would be the ideal xmas present for those hard to buy for rellies.

the failure of the coe playing a big part of it

That’s not fair

when they were culled after super league they had a million dollars in the bank (pretty sure)

given how badly they have been run and how much money afl is spending to fight them I’m surprised that they are doing this well tbh

and the nrl has done nothing for them to help against the suns and yet they are winning the battle

it’s a city of soon to be 800k ppl and loads of juniors it’s got potential to be massive

The NRL do a poor enough job on marketing as it is. They need to hire some professionals to assist.
