The World Series averaged fewer than 12 million viewers, its second-lowest total of all time. But MLB is still doing just fine.
Must be the ratings system that's flawed, and not the fractured nature of TV and streaming options.

There absolutely would be. I’d like to see Australia get it again and have some actually international league in the mean time to build interest (4N and the like).
The new CEO (when are are appointed) of the RFL needs to look at these figures and give more support to Rugby League in the Midlands and the South Of the country, and set up more community clubs with junior sections
Lets not forget that they had a team from Toronto Canada in Super League, but the clubs then appointed a Goose called Robert Elstone to look at ways to improve the image of Super League and the Goose thought is was a good idea to replace a team from Toronto Canada with Leigh which is a district of Wigan, and despite being in the job 2 years the only other thing he came up with was signing up for the players to receive Pizzas after the games. The Goose didn't even cover the wages he was on let alone his staff wages.
