236 000 metro which usually means about 140 000 regional. Foxtel had 158 000 stb which translates to about another 140 000 on Kayo. BVOD figures on Nine will probably add about another 20 000.
So all up I`d roughly estimate about 700 000. The game itself deserved twice that figure at least.

Pretty good amount. I still absolutely believe this needs to be a 3 game contest if you want to push its growth.

It’s a nice opportunity because it can go to places SOO normally can’t (Canberra, Newcastle, Townsville etc). It’s a great way to build the games popularity.

It is all part of growing. So it can stand alone and be profitable. Slight increase on last year

Be good if can have RL all year round. Get women's game in the off season when it can stand alone

I meant off season of the winter sport and the normal NRLW season

A 3 match season after AFL, NRL mens comps is probably best for the value of it
Thats when we play mens and womens internationals

W-SOO works at the moment because its got the #1 ratings timeslot of FNF in the rep weekend

What happens next year when there is no rep weekend will be interesting

Stupid move putting Tonga vs nz at 330 Aussie time

it’s the blue chip match it should be in the prime time slot of 730 pm it would’ve rated through the roof there

indeed Tonga playing Samoa or nz is up their with origin

Couldn't have a 2 hour gap between the 2 tests at commbank , so this is the way it has to be

Friday is different then middle of the week.

Cause where is a Friday that has a gap to give the game the treatment it deserves?

Why couldn't there be tests after Origin for the ladies? It might get England over here too

It will be 5.20pm in NZ, and 6.20pm in Tonga at kick off.

7.30pm AEST would be 9.30pm NZ time and 10.30pm in Tonga.

Does anyone in this thread have a functional brain?

hahahaha
the Qlders are getting paid $15K a game or something , the nsw girls pretty decent coin too

I think their bosses will allow them one night off 🤣

The aim is to go professional.

For that to happen you need money a 3 match series can be made very lucarative. Having a single night off for the game doesn't work.

Early years work/playing will need to be juggled.

They can't take time off for NRLW pre-season or comp in some cases for the NZ. Then expect the same for a random Wed in the year

Anyone with a functional brain wouldn’t be talking about the tv ratings in Tonga that’s for sure
