They've taken a very black and white view... stop in the line, obstruct a defender and its over. That's it, its easy and simple. It's not always perfect but at least it's consistent.

I honestly think that is the ONLY way to get consistency out of this rule... once the bunker starts to veer beyond that, we get the frustration of inconsistency game to game and in game because it's now one persons interpretation of what happened.

I think going away from black on white on this is a step back.

Yeah look I don't disagree BUT I also don't agree that Capewell stopped in the line. A couple of the later shots showed him pretty clearly pull up in time and Hughes continued forwards and made the contact.

Black and white is fine 90% of the time but there's always gonna be some grey I guess is the point
