Eels might just be lucky with the timing.. No Crichton and no Luai will be disruptive to our structures. We also have an 8 point buffer so we're not exactly in desperation mode but I want payback for the Round 9 loss.

LOL.. It's funny you say this with no real evidence. The guy has an 83% win rate as a First Grader and that isn't merely co-incidental obviously as he plays in a key position. Compare this to Sean O'Sullivan who is yet to play with Cleary in the halves and certainly doesn't have the same chemistry with the players around him.

The positive is that we're 8 points clear and still odds on to get the minor premiership and will have a double chance come finals time. However he probably won't be back til the finals or might even miss the first week. Any disruption to a consistent winning team is far from ideal.

You could put any one capable of catching, passing and running in there next to Cleary and Api, they'd probably have an 83% win rate as well.

I highly doubt he will be the reason they don't win, if in fact they don't win.
