I just don't see the logic.

Why weaken two positions in defence for a half arsed attempt to strengthen attack?

Defensively alone, I would not put him in the centres. Then again, his workrate in second-row is quite poor. A bit of a conundrum for a coach as he is probably the best linebreaker in the code.....he just does everything else in a very lazy fashion and is getting paid a shitload of money to do so.
