Did you see NSW Cup yesterday? The team played the same way as the NRL, so every player coming through knows the systems and what to do.
There seemed to be some good young talent on show across the park. They will get better with each game they play.
It seems crazy that the oldest player that pulled on a Penrith jersey this week is 30 this year.

All NSW Cup are as affected

How many rookies across the comp will struggle after a while? That is the issue for those guys

Burton is Barrett/Fitler sized.

Aslong as he keeps his mobility there is no reason to shift to the pack IMO.
Game has changed a lot since those two played. I would imagine if Freddy played today he would have moved to lock a lot earlier than he did.

Yeah it’s interesting we have the 3 young backs that could be next drop at centre if Tago struggles playing wing/fullback in Cup. Rennings has looked good though so maybe he’s the plan for this year while the others have a bit of time to play some footy and season.
The try Turuva scored the other day showed the kind of footwork, balance and evasiveness we lack in the backs currently. Hope he can add a bit more polish and gumption to his game.
