Rest leota unless 100%.

Anyone else got niggles they can rest too imo.

Literally no need to be playing blokes who are not 100%.

Means nothing this week.

Losing will only make the boys more pumped to towel parra out of the finals again.

This week we know they will be up for it. Id almost use it as a trial game to test out some new things.

See if we can get some set plays going to the right to get martin more involved. Hes just a nigel plum atm but hes capable of more than that...

Just try a few things. As long as we can get to the finals without copping anymore injuries that is the main thing. Not saying we have to lose games or drop games or not play 100%. But if we do drop a game or two trying a few things new i wont be upset.

I think this team is experienced enough now to deal with a bit of pressure.

I wouldn’t be picking Charlie Staines in the centres.

Defending in the centres is a highly specialised role and I’m not sure we should be considering Charlie for the position given I don‘t recall him ever having played there. It wouldn’t be doing Charlie any favours He would be on a hiding to nothing.

If a fullback can't defend at centre they shouldn't have a career in the first place.
Defending at fb is completly different to centre lol. I thought u were talking the piss??

Staines would need at least and i mean at least 6 to 12 games in cup at centre imo before just being thrown in to play there at nrl level having NEVER played centre in flegg or cup or nrl or ball...

Its actually crazy.

I literally just looked at the weights of every nrl centre playing this weekend....

If charlie played centre hes the smallest in the comp by 3kgs....

Want to know whose the 2nd lightest?? Val holmes at 90... a state of origin player..an austrslian player, premiership winner with over 150 games experience.

Next lightest.... gagai at 92kgs... see above except he has 21 origin caps and closing in on 250 games experience.

Tago at 93
Brian kelly 94
Lomax 94.
Staggs at 95 with a handle of others

Jennings heaviest at 107
A handful over a 100kgs.

The avg being about 99kgs.
13kgs heavier than staines...

You cant just throw a bloke whose never played centre to the wolves in the nrl like that.

If they want to tey that give him another preseason training there and bulking more

Sorry! The storm have marion seve listed on there website and zero tackle as being 195cm tall and 88kgs lol..

Cleary not right. He looks about 180cm and probs 95kgs. Built like a tank just like olam

Definitley isnt 195cm as welsch is 195 and theres a photo of them on google images and welsch has him covered by a heap.

Weights and heights listed from clubs mean almost nothing in any sport. Basketball and MMA have had some hilarious lies over the years

All pretty accurate. The real only obvious error is that seve one.

The days of lying about that stuff is well in the past.

I don't really care. I'd play a corner post before rennings.

Staines might never have played centre before. Doesn't change the fact he most probably wouldn't do worse than Rennings has done.

Not sure what role he will have from bench. But looking at the line up I am hoping that's the plan Ivan has. There's no other player on the field you would remove to throw him in.

The team selection this week is rather bizarre on a number of fronts. Kenny is out injured but no Soni Luke on the bench or even in the squad. Strange.
