Most teams have mandatory minicamp this week, so to avoid any catastrophic injuries we'll push the rookie draft back to July. I'm heading to Fiji for a bit so we can sort it out when I'm back.

Free agency will start on the weekend.

If you want the opening bid on a payer, send the player's name and starting bid to me via DM/email, a maximum of three players per team. First in, first serve if opening bids on the same player are equal, this is 100% optional. I will throw up some players as well to get things rolling. You can nominate up to 5 players at a time.

Auctions will be over 36 hours after the latest bid. I will ask for everybody's contract years after the auction is over and updating all contracts in one batch.

$500 bid increments, but use your common sense once salaries get higher, bidding up a $30k player by $500 makes the world frown.

Triple check your bids before submitting, there is no undo button on my end and it's a bit of a f**k around to reset an auction to fix a mistake.

Your spend is limited to the cap space you have available + any active auctions you are winning, so be mindful of indiscriminate bidding up of players you don't want.

The auction will end once nominations decline. Once it is over, we will have weekly blind bid waivers run Wednesday nights until the season commences, these players can be assigned years.

I'll send notifications through the usual channels once the auction begins.
