I've been saying for months that our game is killing itself by propping up nine small Sydney clubs to the detriment of everyone else. While AwFuL bases all of its clubs out of large state of the art stadia in front of attendances averaging well over 30k, our game chooses to be based around nine small Sydney clubs who struggle to average 13k, with many of them playing out of parks that have a bloody hill instead of a grandstand.
Who in their right mind would invest in a game that's run by braindead hillbillies from Sydney and think the world begins in Botany Bay and ends at the foot of the Blue Mountains?
These hillbillies have fought tooth and nail to keep their stinkin' hills and thunderboxes because they're scared of having to travel to a large stadium.
The amount of time and money our game has invested in keeping nine small Sydney clubs afloat and based out of mid-20th century stadia has prevented us from adding Brisbane 3, Adelaide, Perth, NZ 2 and NZ 3. The result is we're the unwanted laughing stock of Australian sport as we have a product that rates its socks off but ain't worth shit to anyone who matters because it only cares about hillbillies from one bloody city. Fumbleball is a shit game that knows how to appeal to women and businesses across the entire country, so they get the big contracts.
I warned everyone that our game was facing dark times unless it stopped catering to yobbo clubs from Sydney.
@Perth Red warned everyone about PVL. It looks like our game will have to learn the hard way because NSWRL fans aren't capable of learning from their mistakes.
