The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

I find Accor difficult to estimate, but maybe 15k there?
It's been said a million times, but Accor is such a terrible stadium. Even with a half decent crowd it feels so empty. I fully believe that a portion of the feel good factor about the game at the moment comes from the minimal amount of (non event) games there so far.

If we're not getting the billion dollar rebuild and teams insist on playing there, they need to look at creative solutions. eg. Club mode curtain or temporary north and south stands to enclose it.

Why don't we just use accor for double headers and finals 🤷‍♂️
Well until the NSW govt rebuilds it.

Don't want to invest in it? Neither will we .
Last week there was the Royal Easter Show at the Homebush Olympic Park precinct. There were crowds of 28,000 and 35,000.

A few years ago there was a Supercars street circuit race around Olympic Park. However that event has been cancelled. Although it was held in the off season.

Maybe one way to increase crowds at Accor is to have regular events like an Easter show in and around the precinct.

Maybe the answer to Homebush is build the next Bankwest Stadium there. next door to Accor a 25000 seat Stadium. Then all roads lead to Accor for the bigger games.

Why assume a loss tomorrow night will have any impact?

Explain why the Broncos losing this week makes Broncos v Rabbits the following week a less attractive event for Rugby League fans.

Wish people would have more faith in the game.
That was quite the jump to a conclusion there.

If the Broncos win tomorrow night the media will lose their minds about this being the greatest TV viewing since walking on the moon. And potentially drive ticket sales. If we play like gronks we will still get a decent crowd (and ticket sales suggest that) but we might not draw into the Cowboys / Melbourne attendance territory.
