Yes, but Newcastle has a ground with a decent capacity.
Last night's 12 000 + was just a laugh-a-thon attendance.

Pretty simple stuff, anything with a capacity of less than 15k (being generous) doesn’t get a game for finals. 25k week 2 & 3.

Shark Park makes Brookvale and Leichhardt look like Wembley these days.

This should be renamed ‘The sook thread’ in honour of all the whingers who won’t shut up and endlessly complain about Cronulla’s home final. With respect STFU!

Not sooking, just legitimate complaints about an embarrassment of a club that brings the whole competition down for 'muh home ground advantage'.
Didn't help them much the last two years anyway.

Looks like a sook. Sounds like a sook. It’s a sook!

I will remember you said this when there is 50k extra seats for Penrith v Storm Prelim in 2 weeks.

I hate empty seats so for me these games are much better than if in a big ground that echo's

Give me that over a half empty big stadium
I’m not a big fan of the sharks stadium in its current state but these blokes complaining about it won’t change anything. As you say we filled it. Stadium needs to be 20000 minimum.

With all due respect mate, as much as the Sharks deserve a home final as per the current rules, 13000 is just an absolutely embarressing crowd cap for the NRL when attendances have been so great this season across the board.
And, I'm not sure that locking so many people out of a Sydney semi-final at a better venue is the greatest decision.

For those who care Sharks had a big year on and off the field. Record participation, improved financials, played in the finals. Yes we need an improvement to the ground but bad luck . It’s what it is right now. But do carry on. And Go Sharkies!

That doesn't stop the sooks. Penrith holds 21k and last year v Parra had the same whinging.

Then you move them, get like 40k at Accor and get sooking that they look terrible.

But yes hopefully the smaller grounds get some extra seating to make them 20k

Play it at Allianz instead. It's just a few extra stops on the express T1 service from Penrith.
Otherwise, lobby the NRL to play it at Commbank. There is no rule that says it can't be played there. 30000 is the perfect capacity for your fanbase. A full stadium there would create a fantastic Panthers atmosphere.
