If Canterbury and Wests win this weekend add 5k to each, trade off if Broncos beat Wests which they should add another 5k to them. 5 in a row = crowds

I think the Allianz game will draw a bigger then usual Thursday crowd , maybe 20K
the Raiders even despite their embarrassing performance yesterday will do ok too , 6pm games don't worry Canberrans too much so 15K there

All based on fine weather

Thur Roosters V Parra 20K
Fri Raiders V Penrith 15K
Fri Souths V Melb 15K
Sat Manly V Newc 9K
Sat Drag V Phins 12K
Sat Brisb V West 30K
Sun Sharks V NZ 12K
Sun Bull V NQ 15K

Total 128K
smallest drawing round to date for the year with games being played at Mudgee & Shark park on the same weekend
But it'll be better the some in here are predicting

Looking ahead to next week - it's difficult to see how ticket sales are tracking the way Ticketek does ticketing for Accor Stadium.

Unless the weather is bad, I'd be surprised and disappointed if the Bulldogs vs Rabbitohs crowd is less than 35,000. This game is on the up again with the Bulldogs refreshing its roster, bringing in a new coach and getting some good wins on the board. You could see at Belmore last week that the fans have responded with a strong turnout that was sold-out days in advance.

In 2021, the game attracted a historical low of 23,240. This was at the depths of the Bulldogs poor run of form and was also likely COVID-impacted in terms of attendance.

In 2022, the game attracted 30,194 - an increase of almost 30%. This was no doubt due to the easing of COVID restrictions and the Bulldogs slowly starting to get it together.

This year, the weather has been better, there's more of a buzz about the game, the Bulldogs are on the up and COVID is nowhere near as big a factor as it was 12 months ago (you no longer need to isolate etc).

It should be a good game and a good crowd.

The Eels and the Tigers on the other hand on Easter Monday will struggle to crack 30,000 I think.

The Tigers need to get off their arse & promote the game to eels members & the 100K people who'll be next door at the easter show

Their disillusioned fans will struggle to get motivated to turn up , but it was the corresponding game last year that they pulled out a special performance.

Some of those clashes wouldnt attract big crowds, although Thursday might get 20,000, Parra's first game at the new stadium

Id expect full houses at Cronulla and Mudge.

With it being Parra's first game at the new venue, it might have edged 30k on a Friday night. Being Thursday night, 20k would be a great result.

Re: good Friday, hopefully with it being a dogs home game and them improving dramatically, we go back to the 40k+ days when this fixture was first played. From next year that fixture should be the only souths home game played there.

I am going on Thursday night.

First time to the venue so pretty excited but yes i do have a freebie.

But it's hard on Thursday night to expect fans to come into the city from Western sydney then go home at 11pm for work the next day and its parra 4th Thursday night in 5 weeks. Most fans are over the timeslot already.

Thursday games also should start the game at 7:20pm not 8:00pm.

Friday night you would have got 30k plus.

Especially with curiosity of the new stadium.

Exactly. Souths Melbourne may see an increase of only 14k to 18k where as Easts Parra would go from 16k to 32k...double

Broncos vs Tigers is selling slower than Broncos vs Dragons, which is a bit of a concern IMO. They've cranked the ticket prices up to tier A team, like Cowboys and Melbourne - not sure that was the right approach for a Tigers game on a Saturday night (no disrespect to the Tigers).

But $135+ fees for a sideline seat and $40+ fees for a behind the post seat is insanity.

I expect 24-27k.

Dragons have a bigger supporter base in QLD.

Them, Parra & Souths generally get bigger crowds in QLD due to supporter base in QLD.
