The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Transport for NSW suggests a crowd of "up to 30,000 fans" is expected at Allianz Stadium on Friday 19 May for the Indigenous Round clash between the Rabbitohs and the Eels.

The SMH suggesting the Rabbitohs want to make the pre-game Indigenous Round Parade an annual event, and some club insiders want the game to rival the Indigenous All Stars Game.

As part of this article, the SMH suggests 'more than 35,000 fans are expected to attend next week’s fixture.' They'll need to sell a lot of tickets to make this happen - the top tier of the eastern grandstand still isn't on sale.

Marginally dissapointing crowd in Canberra , was there & while it was chilly , it was as good a night as you'll get weather wise this time of year

dry & not a breath of wind.
Hopefully the sun will shine next Sunday & we will hit the 20K mark V Manly.

I'm a bit disappointed with the Raiders crowd too. They got 20k v Eels in 2021, so I was hoping for that after 4 straight wins.

The media shitting on the stadium might be turning folk away - and to be honest, the parking situation seems a debacle unless you arrive 90mins before kickoff. Hardly a good experience.

I think the Gregan Larkham stand is always the most full which is what the camera faces. The upper tier of the Meninga stand was like 30% full, as pictured.

Cowboys are halfway through their allocation of home matches and they currently sit on a very healthy 18,788 average.

With a home game against the Broncos in hand, plus potential drawers against the Storm & Panthers, they're on track for a very solid average despite their on field performance being poor compared to pre-season expectations.

The Broncos game up there, it should be packed but no thanks to the NRL scheduling of having it at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon........
