And now Brisbane will be a Rugby League and Aussue Rules in joint tomorrow.
Insanity is rare amongst individuals, but in groups it is the rule. Nietzsche.i was watching the Panthers game with some friends and someone flicked the channel over to the last few minutes of the AFL game.... just wow. It was literally 5 minutes of just fumbling...seeing 97k cheering that is just so f**king weird, like a parallel dimension
AnyThe crowd beat Parra v Broncos prelims from the early 2000s.
It's the power of the crowd just like NFL and Soccer in England.Insanity is rare amongst individuals, but in groups it is the rule. Nietzsche.
She didn't offer remember, he tripped into herSee if you were better looking she would’ve just offered you a gobbie
Would be better to challenge narrow club tribalism rather than celebrate it. Unless you prefer lower crowds at finals in big neutral stadia.Well our game is built on tribalism.
Unlike the ping pong down south where the weird flogs in the AFL like in Adelaide on the weekend where Crows fans rocked up in GWS gear to stir up the Port fans.
We simply don't just rock up and buy opposition jerseys of teams to go and support them in finals.
Its your team or no team.
The total for the final series should be just under 330,000, which is the 6th largest on record. An extra 24k were required for the record
Not as good as the H&A but given the teams playing and the use of Shark Park not a bad effort.

If only diehards attend games, where will the extra fans come from?
We need the big Sydney teams to get back into finals for the crowds, and the ratings to look respectable! Enough of the Panthers, Roosters, Sharks making finals please
Careful. Positives are frowned on here.Am I one of the few who is ok with last nights attendance? Sure you can say freebies and such but has there been much bigger against Melbourne in Sydney?
He’s had a bad year. Poor old PR has had to withstand all of the positives of the game including ratings attendance and participation. This crowd has given him the opportunity to let go all that negativity he usually throws around all year. I hope him well.Harry has gone all Harry again.
And and one semi dissapointing crowd Perth flog shows up again, after being unsurprisingly absent for so long.

Considering most standalone NRLW matches (excluding Newcastle games) have been drawing between 1,700 - 2,500, that's really encouraging.Tomorrow's NRLW final between Roosters and Titans has a PAX of 3835; not bad considering the NSWRL GF is on over at Commbank too
So the attendance in the regular season was 3,757,424. And in the finals so far.....Crowds - Round 27

The freebies factor is exaggerated. The takeup of the PSC tickets was less than 30%, so despite it moving a lot of tickets, it resulted in not a huge amount of extra bums on seats.Am I one of the few who is ok with last nights attendance? the one that sold out in under an hour from a city of 185k population? As opposed to the 27k that the Friday Prelim got last year?
I agree, though according to some the sky was falling in. Panthers have posted some good crowds so it shows success ain’t wasted on themThe freebies factor is exaggerated. The crowd was solid for the match up and timeslot. That game draws an extra 10K on a Saturday or Sunday.
