Are we all going to just sit here and pretend the stripes shouldn't be below the Oak sponsorship???.........

at least they have the stripe colours in the correct order.........

Authentic.

Boring, uninspired and ugly, but authentic
I remember the first time I saw that Panthers jersey in 2000, it was before Sanyo jumped on board so it was just this black jersey with three coloured stripes across the lower half and it looked so....dull. Felt like such a fall from grace after the awesome multicolour number they'd rolled out a decade earlier.

While that design would grow on me after Sanyo sponsored it (had a smart simplicity to it), I'm glad they eventually went back to their current design.

Needs more Sanyo .
And weren't the stripes like 5x thicker

Stripes were thicker and definitely below the sponsorship.
In addition to this, the coloured stripes did not extend to the sleeves.

They extended to the sleeves on the 2000 replicas (IIRC this was the last year Classic released 3/4 sleeve supporter jerseys)

The Panthers have had some of the best/ worst jerseys in their history:

OAK Plus extends Panthers partnership

Panthers Media
Wed 26 Oct 2022, 11:08 AM

Penrith Panthers is delighted to confirm OAK Plus has extended its partnership with the club for a further two years.

OAK Plus will continue their partnership as the club’s principal partner for the 2023 season, and the extension will see the OAK Plus logo remain on the front of the Panthers jersey for a twelfth consecutive year.

As well as featuring prominently on Panthers apparel, the market-leading OAK Plus protein beverage will continue to fuel the back-to-back premiership players for at least the next two seasons. OAK Plus will feature on the front of the Panthers jersey for the upcoming season.

“We are very thrilled that our partnership with Panthers has been extended for another two years from 2023, further propelling OAK to the millions of flavoured-milk loving masses in our heartland of NSW. OAK originated in NSW, and this partnership tells the story of our brand and its heritage,” said Lactalis Australia’s General Manager Marketing Angela Burr.

“Australia's favourite flavoured milk, OAK, has an exciting year ahead with strong product innovation, bold advertising and strong partnerships to maintain and build consumer interest. OAK Plus with its 30g of dairy protein per serve will continue to power the Panthers players to success, aiding muscle recovery both after training and games. Nothing kills hungrythirsty dead like OAK with its full on flavour delivery.

“Our partnership of over a decade has been built upon shared values based on teamwork, innovation, high quality performances and of course, a focus on our community. We are proud to continue our involvement with the Panthers into 2023, and look forward to another successful footy season ahead.”

Panthers Rugby League CEO Matt Cameron thanked OAK Plus for their ongoing support of the club.

“Panthers has had a tremendous relationship with OAK Plus for more than a decade and we’re overjoyed to continue this partnership for a further two seasons,” Cameron said.

“This partnership has developed into one of the strongest in the NRL and this has achieved terrific outcomes for both organisations as a result. Panthers is grateful for the continued support of OAK Plus.”

Aside from 2019, There has been a Panthers team of some form playing on GF day every year. That sort of stuff helps retain sponsors

Having a sizable junior base which you can also market to as part of your sponsorship also helps keep B2C companies like Oak onside.

Judging by the ending it appears they'll have the same or similar home and away jerseys in 23:
